Dark and melodic, Crystal Porter is a singer/songwriter from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Her voice is soulful, powerful and passionate. The songs she writes are often about love and life, from her perspective and many of them are character-based. Rabid vampire zombies, a humble fisherman and his wife, a distraught mother; each with their own story to tell. Porter lovingly refers to her songwriting as a collection of fairy tales for the young at heart, the wounded and hopeful.
